A man runs from a sneaker shop eluding police who charged towards looters during the "uprising" of rioting and looting in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, Calif. following the acquittal of LAPD officers accused of beating motorist Rodney King, May 30, 1992. Los Angeles suffered city wide chaos and destruction following the the end of the first trial against accused officers Sergeant Stacey Koon, Laurance Powell, Theodore Briseno and Timothy Wind.
